Have you updated your Cricut Design Studio Software lately? PC has been busy adding cartridges and features that make using the DS even more fun! In the example below, let's pretend that I want to cut the ornament without the dots in the middle.... I can click on the dots, line by line, meaning that I can take away all or only some of them, then right click and click on 'Hide Selected Contour' to remove the highlighted section piece by piece. Now when I cut, I will have an ornament without the hidden dots.

Updating your Design studio can be done by clicking on help at the top of your DS Screen. There you will find a link to check for updates. Follow directions that are on the page. Check for updates everyonce in awhile. Especially when you know new cartridges are coming out!
Speaking of updates...have you heard the latest bit of Cricut Gossip?
Maybe some of you have heard, but if you haven't....there are going to be a couple new font cartridges released in March. It sounds like Provo Crafts original plan was to release the cartridges exclusively to Michaels, but at the last minute Michael's Backed out....so now PC is offering the cartridges to other retailers. We will be taking preoders for these cartridges, and will place our order in the middle of March. All cartridges will be on sale, so if there are other cartridges you have been waiting to get...now is the time! I'm at home today so don't have the pricing list with me....but I will post them as soon as I can get to the store!
